So it has been a while since I've last posted. In life we end up places we commonly don't expect both mentally and physically. At this point I am at a great place. Especially when it comes to the world of wine and hospitality. I have completed my first year in the front of house at one of the best restaurants in the city of Baltimore. And I have learned so much but the best lesson I've learned is that I have so much more to learn...
Food experience of the month: I went to Central Michel Richard and there had a wonderful meal. This meal was all about the food. I started off with steak tar tar, deviled eggs with Fresh anchovy and the star of the first course- crispy soft shell crab stuffed with jumbo lump crab! A red pepper sauce and toasted hazel nuts for garnish. What kind of mad man stuffs crab with crab? A great one that's who. So flavorful and I can say we certainly had more than enough crab. We finished the meal with a lobster burger. Lobster lump bonded together, poached in butter served with a ginger aioli on a brioche bun. So buttery.... So delicious. I enjoyed a nice Oaked Chardonnay by the glass to pair with it. It complemented the burger quite well.

This is a solid spot. Feel like the wine by the glass could use more work, and could put a little more into their cocktails. Decore is nice however bathrooms are a little gloomy. Bad coloring as well. Service was good, but that was it. It was just good. Food by far stood out which in the end is a very important part about any restaurant. I would return.
